Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a special ticketed event held at the Magic Kingdom on select nights. The party is from 7-12 but your able to enter the park at 4 PM!
After entering the park first things first, grab a party map! This will show you all the times for the fireworks, parade, and the stage show. It will also show you where you can get party exclusive treats.
Follow the Cast Members through the party entrance! Here you'll be able to get your candy bag, take fun Halloween exclusive pictures and grab a few pieces of candy.
We got to the parks RIGHT at 4:00 pm! - Right after we got all of our Halloween Party goodies we HAD to stop for some Starbucks! We need ALL the caffeine for this fun, short trip.
If meeting characters is your thing, figure out what characters you'd like to meet and get in line early. The party might not start until 7 but characters start meeting early! Some of the rare characters like The Seven Dwarfs, Jack Skellington with Sally, and Moana wait times can get really long. I would try to meeting them first if your looking to meet some of the rare characters exclusive to the party.
After we were done meeting Jack and Sally we decided to check out some of the Halloween ride overlays. On our way we had to stop for a quick snack and grab a fun popcorn bucket.
The first ride we checked out was Space Mountain! Space Mountain was in complete darkness and they played a super fun Halloween soundtrack. My sister and I really enjoyed this, we were laughing and screaming the whole time.
The other rides with fun overlays include Pirates of the Caribbean and The Mad Tea Party.
We obviously had to check out the spooky Photo Pass opportunities! This one is by far my favorite.
Around 9:30 we headed to the castle to grab our spot for the NEW Not So Spooky Spectacular Fireworks. This is a new show and cannot be missed.
We decided early on that we were going to see the later "Boo To You" Parade which started at 11:15. Since the party had low crowds it was easy for us to mobile order food at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn. So we sat ate nachos and watched the parade. I literally couldn't ask for anything more. Nachos and Disney = PERFECTION!
After the parade is the perfect time to ride a last minute ride or grab some candy. We decided to head to Splash Mountain. My sister had been dying to get on, so this was the time. We ended the night getting soaked and having the best time.
After the ride it was time to head back to our resort. Even though the party was over Merchandise areas on Main Street were still open to grab any last minute souvenirs.
